After sustaining a sports-related hip injury as a teenager, my brief encounter into the world of Physical Therapy sparked my interest. I realized then just how important a healthy physical body is to enable anyone to go about their daily lives and to do the things we enjoy!

I've been practicing Physical Therapy since 1987 and I now have an even greater appreciation for this health care profession. I see it working everyday in the successful treatment of acute and chronic pain, dysfunctions, post-surgical healing, and prevention of injuries and disease processes. I love working directly with people to assist them in feeling better, maximizing their quality of life and staying well. Physical Therapy can also positively affect a person's psychological, emotional, and social well-being.

I feel very blessed to live and work in the Bay County area. My goal is to provide each client with respect and care to the best of my ability.

Susie Garcia, P.T.Susie Garcia, P.T.

I currently work at our facility located on Jenks Avenue as a physical therapist, and have had the pleasure of being a part of the treating staff at Therapy One since June 2010. Prior to moving to Panama City Beach, I lived in Miami Florida where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2004 from Florida International University and went on to receive my Masters degree in Physical Therapy three years later.

Most of my professional experience involves working with Orthopedic and Geriatric patients in various settings, but I love any opportunity to expand my expertise treating Neurological patients as well. I grew up knowing I would choose a career path that would help people, but it was not until sustaining a knee injury during a high school soccer game that I realized how physical therapists can positively affect society's physical health. Everyday I strive to provide the best care and up to date knowledge to our patients in order to speed their recovery, encourage better lifestyle choices, and return them to their prior level of function. My hope is that past, current, and future patients continue to improve their overall quality of life after their rehabilitation experience is over.

I grew up in Michigan where I attended my first year of college at Washinaw Community College. In 1992, I moved to Panama City where I met my wonderful husband, we now have two beautiful little girls.

I graduated in 2001 with an AA in General Studies and an AS in Physical Therapy Assistant from Gulf Coast Community College. For three years I worked at an impatient hospital, helping patients recover from their injuries. I have had the pleasure working with THERAPY1ONE for the last eight years.

Commitment to good health and physical well being has been important to me my entire life. I grew up watching my mother deal with the side effects from childhood polio. I have always known I wanted to work with people, to help them overcome their injuries. I am here to support, to teach and to guide you through your recovery. I look forward to the future, helping bring the importance of exercising to every person I help.

I've been doing physical therapy here at THERAPY1ONE ever since graduating the program at Gulf Coast Community College in May of 2010. I chose physical therapy as a profession so I can assist others in maintaining and improving their quality of life.

I am from Florida, but have been all over the world in different endeavors in my life. I proudly served our country for four years in the United States Air Force. I am married to my lovely wife Robin of 13 years and have two wonderful children Max and McKenna. I encourage others to stay fit, take their vitamins, say their prayers, and enjoy life. I look forward to working with patients and helping them reach their maximum potential.

Jordan Colemere, P.T.A.Jordan Colemere, P.T.A.

I graduated the PTA program in May, 2011 from Gulf Coast State College. One month later, I married my beautiful wife Allison. After working PRN in an inpatient setting, I began my career with THERAPY1ONE in October of 2011.

I chose to be a PTA because I have always been an active person and understand the importance of physical health. My number one reason for choosing this profession is I love to help people return to their prior functional level after accidents and injuries.

I have lived in Bay County my entire life and have a lot of appreciation for the area. I am a full time employee for THERAPY1ONE at our beach location. I look forward to meeting you and helping with your recovery process.
